Happy New Year 2012 Worship Service January 01, 2012
Wishing all BMBC members, families and friends Happy and Blessed New Year. The theme for the New Year 2012 January and February sermons are Making All Things New. This week sermon was delivered by Pastor Ooi Kheng Boon.
In his sermon, he mentioned that Christians are generally assimilated into three main groups. Roman Catholics and Protestants are common in most parts of the world. However the third group, the Eastern Orthodox Church is not widely known here. He shared that in the Eastern Orthodox Churches where the presence before God is an important element and key to their worship and prayer service. He highlighted the Jesus' prayer as found in the Holy Bible Book of Luke Chapter 18. He encourage us to pray these twelve words, " Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy upon me the sinner" as he usually began his prayers. We should be thankful to God in all circumstances.

Merry Christmas Greetings from BMBC and Pastors. After the Christmas presentations by the Church members, the Christmas Day Service continued with sermon by our Pastor Ooi Kheng Boon. Pastor shared with us a short clip recorded by the Hilltop Preschool and Kindergarten on what the students and children think of Christmas. After the service, the congregations and friends had lunch at our fellowship corner.
You can follow the sermon here. Isaiah Chapter 9 verses 2 to 7. The light of God, Jesus Christ has come in the midst of Darkness and Despair. We are now the light bearers of God as Jesus Christ the light of God has come to us more than 2000 years ago. Also read the scriptures Luke Chapter 2 verses 1-14. Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests. The love of God has given us hope and purpose in our life. The birth of Jesus is the birth of love and salvation for mankind.
