BMBC Family Camp 2011 at Stella Maris, Penang

It is a special BMBC Family Camp 2011 as the families from the church gathered at Stella Maris, Tanjong Tokong, Penang ffrom April 30, 2011 to May 02, 2011.  The Guest speaker was Pastor Elisha.  All who attended the sessions, themed Love Your Neighbor As Yourself, were blessed and challenged to move on and share the gospel which is the good news according to the Holy Bible.  We are indeed very privileged to have Pastor Elisha and his team to share their experiences and walks with God from their ministry to the poor, the less fortunate and the aliens in our community. Thank you Pastor Elisha and Team.

We also have the Sunday Worship Service away from our usual BMBC Sanctuary.  It was held at the hall at Stella Maris, Tanjong Tokong, Penang. It was located at such a beautiful location that we can have the view of the Straits of Malacca from the hall itself.  We can open the sliding glass doors ad the other end and walk to the benches and have our tea breaks and meals.

It was also very special for us as the campers were able to enjoy the beautiful beach and sea off Tanjong Tokong, Penang beside the warmth of the families as there were ice breakers and games for the children, youths and the adults throughout the three days and two nights camp.  There were minor discomforts for some who were not used to sleeping next to beach with the sounds of the sea waves, the hard pillows and the short blankets.  We look forward to next BMBC Camp soon and back to Nature.

Thank you to all the Organising Committee Members and all the participants for making it a wonderful outing for the campers and guests.  Also, our special appreciation for our Sis Sock Hooi who had facilitated the check-in and check-out and making other arrangements as pleasant for everyone.  Anyway, we are safely back to Bukit Mertajam now.  It is simply the time to roll on with new challenges of sharing compassion with the community we are in and be prepared for the inconveniences.

Here are the recorded sessions to share with you.
