BMBC Sunday Worship Service February 27, 2011 - Relationships
We have bro. Joel Lim to share his sermon with the congregation. He looks at the three relationships parents and children, slave and master and husband and wife with the main theme of one church and one body in Christ and unity in the Church. Reverence of the Lordship of Christ in the Church. Love the Church as husband loves the wife. Love and Submission are key points for building a united church as we help one another to grow in love in the Lord together.
He gave an illustration of the Durian tree that flourished with three key elements, such as good soils, the rain to refresh after the harvest and the Sun to bear down the leaves of the tree to induce new shoots, flowering and the ripening of the fruits. For the church to flourish and united in love, his conclusion is that we need obedience, submission and loving the Lord.
